Gonna try and keep it short again.

I’ve gotten a little more serious about staying fit lately. Put myself on a diet, started doing regular exercise — all that kinda stuff. The reason why is unimportant, the point is that I’ve done it.

Anyway, it seems to have been going well. (I really have no idea, as I haven’t been measuring anything, so I have reference for the impact it’s having.) But two days ago I’m on the treadmill, I’m five minutes away from finishing, and I get a sudden pain in my groin that starts making it difficult to run. And it gets worse.

I’m pretty sure this is my first sports injury.

I mean, I’ve been injured before — I’ve got a dodgy shoulder that likes to go out when I’m doing weights, I’ve got a knee that will buckle without warning — but nothing that was caused by any form of ongoing sport/exercise.

So, I tried to deal with the situation. My attempted remedy was unpleasant. (For those of you who don’t know what Deep Heat is, look it up. But, as the name suggest, shit gets hot.)

In other news, yesterday I started a new routine to DRAW EVERY DAY. At the moment, that means I’m drawing daily monsters. Real*, recognised and documented monsters. Not just random stuff I’ve made up. If you wanna check them out, head over to my Twitter account.
