Here is this weeks comic: “New Puppy (Love)”!

Shocking! A comic that’s actually — somewhat — topical.

As some of you might be aware, Borders and Angus and Robertson book-stores are having a bit of a tough time at the moment. Which, in a rather unusual way, inspired a comic.

Of course, instead of a comic that actually makes a relevant observation of the situation, it’s a far more selfish take. I, myself, don’t want to see my local Borders close — all the other bookshops around here are shit! I used to buy books from Dymocks all the time, but I was forever having to order books in because they didn’t have the ones I actually wanted in stock. If I loose my Borders I’ll have to go back to that — or start buying online! And if I buy online I loose that oh-so-important element of social interaction with the person behind the counter — which is increasingly precious in this day and age, don’t you think?

Well, that’s the reason I’ll be telling people, anyway.

On an aesthetic note, I’m really happy with how this comic came out. The only thing I don’t like is that I had to write so much dialogue — it covers up all my pretty pictures!

Comments and feedback are, as always, appreciated.
