Also titled Navigation.

My current phone has sat-nav built into it.

Hardly a new thing for most people, but it’s something that I’ve only recently started playing with.

Problem is, whoever the Hell decided what the voice was going to say when it’s giving directions is a numb-nut. “Turn slightly left” can mean: “The road curves to the left with no deviations — follow it” or “The adjacent road which I didn’t tell you to turn into also curves to the left. Stay on the one you’re on” or “There’s a turn-off on the left for a completely different road — TAKE IT NOW!”

Rule One for all people developing navigation systems — get someone who can both READ a map, and communicate effectively enough to DIRECT someone else to write your damned script!
